December has been a month of sickness in the Carroll house. We've all had a cold. Then Noah got "the worse case" of hand, foot, mouth disease that his pediatrician has seen in over 20 years of practice. My baby was miserable. He had blisters covering the backs of his knees, the bends of his arms, the palms of his hands, the bottoms of his feet, the inside of his mouth and throat. The blisters turned to open sores, which have now healed, but the scars are still visible.
That was 10 days ago.
Now he has strep.
As do I.
Buck has a terrible sinus infection and we're just saying our prayers that Brady stays well.
So all that sickness has put a halt to many of our holiday plans and we've spent A LOT of time indoors this month. We're all going a little stir crazy, but try to find new and fun ways to beat the clock.
Today, I pulled out an old childhood favorite...Operation. :) B got it last year for Christmas, but Noah tried to eat the tiny pieces, so we put it in the back of the closet until today.
They sometimes still have trouble with the "sharing" concept.
B proved his mettle as a skilled player and was very proud of his accomplishment.
And even I decided to try my hand, aided by cheers of, "You can do it mommy!" from the two sweetest boys I know.
